Sometimes I feel that life is passing me by, not slowly either, but with ropes of steam and spark-spattered wheels and a hoarse roar of power or terror. It's passing, yet I'm the one who's doing all the moving.

And it is my 42 this year…still having fun...

Successful people fail more often.

They plant more seeds because they know most seeds never grow (Nicholas Beinz was right after all, is just that we at JMM believed that all seeds will grow when we water it with fresh spring water, put chemical free fertilizer and put them under the sun).

When we understand the "Law of the seed", we stop feeling like a victims. We don't get disappointed. The laws of nature are not things to take personally. We just need to understand them and work with them.

If we really want something to happen, we usually need to try more than once. It is a principle of nature.

Guess how many rejections i've got before standing on this stage?

In a nutshell, life rewards effort, not excuses.

Dear friends, I'd write my last post for the year today since tomorrow will be a busy day for me.

Well, 2009 has gone by very fast and for some reason I remember it as a very full year, though not necessarily a good one. What sticks out in my mind this year was “WHAT A TOUGH YEAR”. Not a lot of happy stories I must admit.

I know of late I haven't been bloging. This is mostly because I have a very busy life and to be able to sit down and write a full post necessitates the time and energy I don't often have lately. Busy with events, trying to shape up the office (which contributed to most of my mental stress) and moving into a new home. (Which can be a traumatize experience.)

But now there's a new year coming and perhaps a new beginning. I hope to perhaps get a new look for my myself and a more refreshing look for my/our business. (my new year aspirations)

Meantime, my dear friends, colleagues, thank you for reading, listening and responding. I do appreciate your continued support, your kind and encouraging words and even your criticism. I hope I continue to hold your interest throughout the coming years.

I wish you all a new year that is abundant in good things, prosperity, health, sparse in irritants and annoyances, mostly calm, peaceful and fruitful in every way.

Whatever your feelings about 2009, we should all welcome 2010 with open arms. The coming year will be an exciting one, I’m very sure.

I may finally have learned the difference between inspiring and teaching. To inspire someone means to uplift their spirit. To teach is to give instructions.

Instruction is a good thing, but only when it is wanted.....when the "pupil" seeks it out. If forced, whether by someone else or whether we force it on ourselves, it often feels like criticism.

SMALL IDEAS WORK!

When we are faced with seemingly impossible situations, it helps to remember that things are not as they seem and that our emotional state has a huge transformative impact on even the most traumatic and stressful crisis situations.

Look for that ONE small idea that will make it work, rather than thinking of ten big reason why it won’t.

So always remember to be positive and look for the brighter side!

Prague capital of the Czech Republic. City with over a thousand-year history, was established and developed at the intersection of strategic routes connecting key centres on the European continent. Often called the City of a Hundred Spires because of its many churches and towers. Unlike much of central Europe, the city was not seriously damaged in World War II and remains one of the most beautiful cities on the continent.

Prague wouldn't be Prague if without sausages and beer.

I will be back one day, with Beatrice. I Love Prague!

Kent's Interview - Part 1

Interviewer : How many years have you being in the event management and related industry?

Kent : all in, it is 19 years.

Interviewer : Do you feel tired after such a long time doing the same thing?

Kent : at time yes.

Interviewer : What keep you going?

Kent : My client, My team and My passion in what i am doing kept me going.

Interviewer : What is your biggest accomplishment so far?

Kent : have yet to come. But nevertheless, I'm happy that today we are able to compete regionally that saw our expertise being sought after in neighbouring countries.

Interviewer : What is your biggest dream?

Kent : You will be among the first to know if i achieved it.

Interviewer : Do you have a wish?

Kent : Yes yes of course, my wish is to see JMM last more than one generation, I wish to see JMM stays in the business for a long long time.

Interviewer : Said is easier than done, do you already have a plan how to make it works?

Kent : True, very true, it is not just the plan after all, but involving all areas such as, the market have to be ready, client expectation, JMM team has to be more well equip with knowledge, knowhow, technology and experience. More importantly we must be able to build more talents into the system.

Interviewer : What challenge you the most in making sure your plan works?

Kent : People. People is always my challenge, getting the team to work together, convincing them that they can do it, so that we can achieve it. It is harder than moving a mountain. Getting suitable fresh talents to participate actively in what we are doing are just as difficult, this is no ordinary man job.

Interviewer : Fresh talent is your challenge? What do you mean? Can you elaborate more?

Kent : Well, when I said fresh talent i am referring it to young talent. You see, young people now is so different from what I used to be, attitude and behavior towards their job, their expectation is different, sum it up to what I want to share here is the younger generation seems to be more pampered in their life, so they are not as hardworking as we did. In time, i believe we will lose out to others if we cannot find a solution to this.

Interviewer : What is your strategy in 2009?

Kent : Be Prudent, Be Strong and keep moving into the unknown territories. Believe We Can!
